Lawrence residents have a free way to get to the polls this Primary Election Day. Lawrence Transit is offering free rides on Tuesday, August 2 to encourage all residents to get out and vote. All fixed-route and paratransit buses will be free.

“Removing barriers for people to participate in elections is important, and free buses helps make it easier for everyone to get to the polls,” said Adam Weigel, Transit & Parking Manager.
