Lawrence Transit is launching an on-demand service! Download our new app to book free trips evenings and overnight. Now available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Lawrence Transit On Demand is a shared ride service that operates within the city limits. You can expect to see the same friendly bus drivers in our smaller buses that are all ADA accessible and equipped with bike racks. Service is door-to-door, meaning you can schedule a ride between any two places in town.

Going to an evening movie that gets out after 8 p.m.? We’ll pick you up at the theater and drop you off at your front door.

Service runs from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday. Lawrence Transit On Demand will run on Sundays starting in January 2024, as well as extending Saturday hours from midnight to 6 a.m.
