Lawrence residents have a free way to get to the polls this election day. Lawrence Transit is offering free rides to customers on Tuesday, November 5 to encourage all residents to get out and vote. All fixed-route buses will be free.

“Voting is a fundamental right and removing the barrier of transit fares provides even more opportunity for people to make their way to the polls on election day,” said Jessica Mortinger, Interim Transit Manager.
