Lawrence Transit seeks community input on expectations for bus stop improvements

Lawrence Transit has released a draft of their updated Bus Stop Improvement Program and an accompanying survey on Lawrence Listens. You can read the draft plan here: https://assets.lawrenceks.org/transit/BusStopImprovementProgram2022DRAFT.pdf

Public feedback will be gathered over the next month, and the survey will close on November 18. Public input received will inform Bus Stop Improvement Program implementation. In addition to the survey, there will be opportunities for conversation with transit staff at the 7th and Vermont bus platform on the following dates:
October 27: from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
November 4: from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
November 9: from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
November 14: from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
