When my kids started middle school, there were days when they wanted to come meet me at my work downtown or go to the Lawrence Public Library after school. I downloaded The T’s app to my phone. I learned which bus route could pick them up by their school and drop them a short walk from my office. Since then, they have taken advantage of this option on a regular basis. We have enjoyed the flexibility The T has afforded us. And, I appreciate that my kids have learned more independence and responsibility through the experience!
