I’m a retired engineer. I did industrial engineering at Boeing in Wichita.
I go to the gym if I’m awake. If it’s in the summer, I go fishing and hiking. Pretty much any day it’s not too hot or too cold. So basically I’m exploring new places to hike. That’s what I was doing the last year. Now I play Frisbee and Frisbee golf.
I go to the gym—everywhere. [The bus is] my lifeline, yeah to get around. I had a health problem. I can’t have a license. I can’t drive, so I’ll be riding this bus—I’ll be here for 30 years.
My grandson and my daughter live here. She went to KU and graduated about five or six years ago. So did my son-in-law. They both moved here and settled, so I followed.
